The purpose of this project is to impact the children with power of laughter.
Last month, Laff Theory had the opportunity to visit Oyiza Orphanage. Oyiza orphanage and foster foundation is a non-governmental organization and a charitable home. The home was established basically as a charitable organization whose focus is to develop and improve the lives and living of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) that are victim of socio-economic and environmental crisis in our society.
These crises range from abandonment and neglect from broken homes, kids of beggar and the less privileged families and orphans from deceased parent(s). This will help to eradicate poverty and make the women independent mothers and also help to reduce the high rate of street children and other series of child abuse such as Hawking, house girl activities and other forms of abuse. The children at Oyiza Orphanage range from 6 months to 19 years.
Laff theory chose to impact the Oyiza children with power of laughter. The feedback from the event was that the children enjoyed it and they would like us to come back.
This project was a huge success. Laff Theory want to say thanks so much for always supporting us. Please click below to see highlights:
